Debt Hunt Loot Tier List

Rank Debt Hunt loot decisions by safe debt progress, route time, inventory pressure, tool access, sunset risk, and solo or co-op context.

The most useful Debt Hunt loot tier list ranks decisions, not unsupported permanent prices. A nearby Supply Box during daylight can be an excellent stop; the same box can be a bad detour after the return trigger. A tool can be essential while matching targets remain and become dead inventory after the branch is cleared.

These tiers assume the objective is safe debt progress. Official badge data confirms the activity categories, while exact values and spawns remain live checks.

How the tiers work

S — Repeatable route core: an activity already on a safe loop, easy to convert, and unlikely to break the sunset plan.

A — Strong with a condition: valuable when the correct tool, target cluster, route, or group role is already present.

B — Situational opportunity: worth considering after debt pace and return safety are under control.

C — Unproven or poorly timed: an unknown pickup, distant detour, or activity whose full cycle has not been measured.

The same entity can move between tiers. Rank the current decision with the current seed, not the name alone.

S-tier route decisions

Nearby Supply Boxes belong here when they sit on a reversible route and open quickly. Provision Master proves opening them is a tracked activity, but not what each contains. Their strength comes from convenience and repeatability rather than a guaranteed payout.

Camera opportunities can be S tier after you have confirmed a valid subject and conversion flow. Photos may create value without replacing a large physical item, but subject rules, capacity, and payout must be read live. An untested photo is not automatically valuable.

Safely converted value is always S tier. Returning, selling or uploading, and confirming debt progress beats carrying one more uncertain object into sunset.

A-tier tool branches

Mineral Ore clusters can be strong when the reported mining tool is already available and the branch is close enough to repeat. Wooden Plank access can be strong when opening it exposes several useful interactions. Treasure can be strong when the marker, digging tool, and return route are already confirmed.

These activities fall when you must buy or carry a single-purpose tool for one distant target. Include tool cost, inventory space, and interaction time in the ranking. Official activity badges do not prove the branch contents.

In co-op, a tool branch rises when one player can carry the tool while another preserves value and watches time. In solo, it needs a clearer payoff.

B-tier special opportunities

A Gem is officially confirmed by Gem Alarm, but its value and signal behavior are not public first-party facts. Treat an on-route Gem with safe capacity as a useful opportunity. Treat a distant one as a new risk calculation.

Community-reported high-value objects also begin here until repeated current runs confirm their name, payout, condition, and source. A rare find can move up for the run in which it appears, but it should not define a global farm from one clip.

Extra survival supplies can also be B tier while the route is already safe, then rise sharply when one item prevents a likely loss. Utility cannot be ranked only by sale value.

C-tier traps

An unknown item that displaces a confirmed tool or safe value is a C-tier choice. So is a late container, photo setup, ore node, or treasure dig that begins after the group should already be returning.

Fighting the sunset monster for an unverified drop is C tier. The official objective centers debt, and no first-party source promises a monster loot payout. Use combat only when the current game demonstrates that it protects completion.

DarkMarket purchases with no named problem also belong here. The Independent badge proves shop-free completion is possible. A flashy offer cannot outrank the debt reserve without a break-even case.

Change tiers by phase

Early in the contract, repeatable nearby activities and route knowledge dominate. In the middle, tool branches rise because enough cycles remain to repay their cost. Near payment, conversion and survival rise while exploration falls. After payment, the current objective decides whether Cash, tools, or defense still matter.

At sunset, almost every optional pickup falls a tier because return risk grows. Solo lowers distant and single-purpose decisions. Co-op can raise divided tool routes but also creates coordination risk.

Record the date, difficulty, group size, debt state, and route condition beside any recommendation that depends on current balance.

Make your own live ranking

Choose one route and list its activities. For each, record complete-cycle time, credited value, inventory use, tool requirement, and whether it returns before the trigger. Repeat the cycle before assigning a tier.

Move an activity up when it repeats safely or solves a frequent problem. Move it down when it depends on a rare seed, steals capacity, or causes late returns. Do not preserve a rank after an update changes the interface or result.

Tier-list FAQ

What is the best Debt Hunt loot?

The best choice is safely convertible value already on your route. No permanent first-party price ranking is public.

Are Supply Boxes always S tier?

No. They are strong when nearby and safe; a late or distant box can become a bad detour.

Where does the Gem rank?

B as an unknown special opportunity, moving up when the current route and live value prove it safe. The badge alone does not establish price.

How often can tiers change?

Any Alpha update, difficulty difference, market state, or newly measured route can change them. Keep the check date with the recommendation.
